If you have a body you are an athlete

 On the surface, here at BeMoreAthlete we try to deliver the best coaching for “functional fitness” but when you dive a bit deeper we provide so much more.

 

Our outlook on being healthy extends way past just being physically fit. It includes learning new skills, meeting new people, being social, managing stress and developing YOU as a person.  We run a variety of group classes & 1-1 coaching sessions.

 

Our gym is a private facility and not accessible to the general public, please find out more details about membership & classes below.

wHY IS bma different?

Stepping into a gym for the first time can be tough!  Wether you've just moved to the area but you have vast experience in gyms or wether its your first ever time picking up a dumbbell; it's a massive thing, we've got you. We have a very relaxed and friendly environment. Our whole ethos is just to help you to become a better version of you than yesterday. If you're in a better place physically, mentally or socially when you walk out the door then we've done our job right.

These sessions are when we burn lots of calories keeping your heart rates nice and high working in pairs or as a team to reach a target or goal for the session. These classes are capped at 24 athletes per session and are extremely popular class option.

FUNCTIONAL IMAGE.jpg

 These workouts we focus on strength or multiple strength elements for the first half of the session and then a conditioning finisher at the end to get heart rates up. These will be capped at 12 people so that each athlete gets access to the coach which is hugely important to us.

These sessions are for a more beginner/ intermediate athlete. These sessions are a stepping stone into strength training where we spend more of the session focussing on how to approach different strength movements and building the foundations of a strong and fit athlete.

It’s about the ability to chase after the kids and be injury free. To go for a run at the drop of the hat because your friends are doing the coach to 5k - even if you aren’t actively training to run. Its about saying YES more and saying no less.

SESSIONS INSTEAD

Small group coaching is one of our newest projects at team BMA (Be More Athlete)! It is more personal than our classes, with a 1 coach to 4 client ratio. We find this is a great option for people looking to get an understanding of functional fitness and how we train at Be More Athlete. We are able to use this platform as a stepping stone for clients to gain the confidence to join the bigger classes. Small group coaching is the best of both worlds, a personal trainer service at a fraction of the cost!
